Nowadays Minea works as a product designer and has dedicated herself entirely to her favourite artefact æ the partition. So she fuses traditional handicrafts with contemporary design, an approach which had already achieved importance in the arts-and-crafts movement at the end of the 19th Century. During the age of industrialisation, artisans and artists joined forces to preserve arts and crafts from extinction.

This is a theme which has increased in significance once again. Because technology is taking over in ever-increasing areas of our lives, our desire for individuality becomes stronger. A desire which Minea fulfils with her room partitions. Because Minea creates artefacts which shape living spaces which can thereby be continually refashioned.
